Interlock Technology taps Reciprocal Group to be one of its Main EMEA Archive Migration Delivery Partners

November 3, 2015

Waltham, MA – November 3, 2015 — Interlock Technology, a leading provider of archive data migrations for EMC Centera® storage solutions, has entered into a partnership agreement naming Reciprocal Group as one of Interlock’s main EMEA Centera® migration delivery partners. Reciprocal Group is based in the UK and is a leading consulting partner for end-to-end storage solutions. Interlock will provide Reciprocal with both archive migration technology as well as Interlock certification training for several Reciprocal engineers. This will enable Reciprocal to delivery an Interlock certified data migration for Centera® storage, and to serve as one of Interlock’s main EMEA delivery partners.

Reciprocal manages the complete lifecycle of data from storage through testing. By partnering with Interlock’s best-of-breed archive migration technology, Reciprocal ensures its clients receive the fastest, safest archive migration, as well as the ability to migrate a wider range of applications than any other service provider. By becoming a certified Interlock delivery partner, Reciprocal can perform the data migrations themselves while relying on Interlock’s technology and expertise. For Interlock, this partnership also provides additional staff to resell Interlock’s service technology and support sales in EMEA. In addition, both companies have deep expertise in Symantec’s Enterprise Vault (EV) technology. Interlock is a Symantec Certified Partner for archive data migration and Reciprocal is the only company Symantec has signed to be an EV migration subcontractor for EV migrations from Centera®.

“This partnership represents a great blend of strengths, especially considering both companies have a strong background in migrating Symantec’s Enterprise Vault technology,” stated Gary Lieberman, co-founder and CEO of Interlock Technology, “Interlock gains a valued business partner that helps us expand our ability to reach and serve new EMEA customers. Reciprocal gains the use of our best-of-breed archive data migration technology, as well as the training to become an Interlock certified delivery partner.” Lieberman continues, “Interlock and Reciprocal have already successfully worked together on several major Centera data migrations, including delivering a solution for a Global Investment Bank that was distributed over three different continents. We look forward to a successful and lucrative partnership”

“We are excited by the synergies of this partnership,” said Andrew James, director of Reciprocal Group.  “We have worked with Interlock on multiple different data migrations in many markets, including local government, hospitals and healthcare, and the finance and banking sectors. By taking this partnership to the next level, we will strengthen both companies’ offerings and opportunities.” Andrew continued, “Both companies have extensive background in Enterprise Vault, NICE, OpenText, DiskXtender, PACS and many other common programs our clients need migrated from Centera storage. We are excited by the opportunity to bring Interlock’s technology in-house and provide this leading archive migration solution to our clients.”

Interlock Technology was the first company to offer Centera archive data migrations and has deep expertise that enables it to handle the most challenging migrations. With its storage agnostic technology, Interlock can migrate data to and from any storage provider that a client selects. In addition, Interlock offers complete transparency during the migration, with pre-migration assessments and post-migrations reports. This ensures that there is an audit trail and preserves chain-of-custody, for legal and regulatory compliance.

Interlock Technology Announces On-Time Guarantee for Archive Data Migrations

Waltham, MA – August 5, 2015 — Interlock Technology, a leading archive data migration provider, is pleased to announce an on-time guarantee for its archive data migration services. Interlock has an unparalleled depth of expertise in data migration; this experience enables Interlock to provide accurate estimates of the project scope and data migration timeframe. We stand behind our quoted timelines and we guarantee that Interlock’s portion of the project, starting when we begin moving the data and ending when we finish moving the data, will be completed within the amount of time quoted in your signed statement of work. Interlock is the only archive data migration vendor to offer an on-time guarantee.

“Customers regularly tell us that one of the things they love about Interlock is the fact that we complete our work on time,” stated Gary Lieberman, co-founder and CEO of Interlock Technology, “This is an important consideration for many companies, so we decided to formalize this benefit by offering an on-time guarantee.” Lieberman continues, “This type of predictability is important for IT planning. Obviously, this only applies to the Interlock portion of the project, but customers now have the comfort of knowing that their data migration will be completed on-time if they use Interlock.”

Interlock Technology was the first company to offer Centera archive storage migrations and has deep expertise that enables it to handle the most challenging migrations. With its storage agnostic technology, Interlock can migrate data to and from any storage provider that a client selects. In addition, Interlock offers complete transparence during the migration, with pre-migration assessments and post-migrations reports. This ensures that there is an audit trail and preserves chain-of-custody, for legal and regulatory compliance. Interlock’s on-time guarantee does not apply to the whole project, only the Interlock data migration. Interlock cannot be responsible for the timelines or delays of other parties and cannot guarantee the original timeline if the scope of the project changes or if there are issues with the client’s network availability.

Interlock Technology Adds Support for Three New Types of Archive Data Applications

– Supports the largest number of archive data applications –

Waltham, MA – July 13, 2015 — Interlock Technology, a leading archive data migration provider, has added migration support for three new types of data applications, ApplicationXtender (AX), Hyland’s OnBase and Caminosoft. To ensure it can migrate the broadest range of archive data applications, Interlock regularly develops supporting code for new applications. By supporting the largest number of applications, Interlock enables customers to use a single source provider for archive data migrations – an advantage that saves time, money and hassles.

“We are very pleased to add support for three new types of applications,” stated Gary Lieberman, co-founder and chief executive officer of Interlock Technology. “We have always supported more applications than any other archive data migration supplier and our development team will keep working to add support for additional applications,” he continued. “By offering a single vendor solution, we simplify the archive data migration process for our customers.”

“The addition of AX, OnBase and Caminosoft to the applications Interlock supports will enable us to serve even more archive migration customers,” said Michael Cavers executive vice president of global sales and alliances. “The reason Interlock can support so many different types of application data is because we have skilled archive data engineers that create custom plug-ins to migrate almost any type of application data.” He continued, “We can even create plug-ins to migrate custom-developed code that companies created in-house. This is a skill many data migration companies do not possess.”

Interlock Technology Achieves New Archive Data Migration Speed

Interlock Technology Achieves New Archive Data Migration Speed of 14 Terabytes per day  from EMC’s Centera Storage

Waltham, MA – June 15, 2015 — Interlock Technology, a leading archive data migration provider, has attained a new data migration speed record of 14 Terabytes (TB) per day – the fastest rate that EMC’s Centera can support for data migrations. This breakthrough in speed was attained during a live customer migration and is more than double the standard migration speed of 3 – 6 TB per day. This speed was attained using Interlock’s Xspedient technology, which ensures that even at this extremely high transfer rate, there is zero impact on the customer’s business applications or users during the migration.

While migration speed varies with different hardware and applications, part of the reason that Interlock can attain these speeds is because Interlock’s proprietary technology bypasses the application layer and migrates the data directly to the new storage platform. This technology enables Interlock to complete even the largest migrations, containing billions of files, in just a few months, while other competitors require around 18 months for the same migration.

“We are very excited about this speed breakthrough,” stated Gary Lieberman, co-founder and CEO of Interlock Technology, “While this represents ideal conditions, it shows the strength of our technology. We are data migration experts and we built our technology, services and reports specifically for fast, safe and transparent archive data migrations.” Lieberman continues, “Our technology enables us to support the largest number of applications and work with a broad array of storage providers, including NetApp, Hitachi, EMC and many others. This is significant because a number of companies only work with select storage solutions or vendors. Regardless of the platform, our technology is producing the fastest and most reliable migration results.”

“We are thrilled with this development,” said Michael Cavers executive vice president of global sales and alliances. “The 14 TB per day transfer rate was achieved at a live customer migration using a single instance of our technology. This is not an aggregate speed attained by running multiple instances simultaneously. Since our technology was built to handle high volume data migrations, Interlock never needs to run multiple instances of our technology unless a customer is migrating billions of files.”

Interlock Announces VNA Ready Migration

Interlock Technology Announces VNA Ready Migration Services
WALTHAM, MA (SEP 15, 2013) – Interlock Technology, a leading data migration services company today announced its VNA Ready migration service.

Interlock considers its HIPAA-Compliant assessment and migration service a key preliminary component in any VNA centered initiative. “Many health care organizations are considering the practicality of a VNA,” said Michael Cavers, Interlock’s Vice President of Alliances, “Interlock works with some of the leading VNA providers and we understand the complexity involved, as well as the many factors that are incorporated into a VNA decision. The first step in any VNA decision is analyzing and organizing your data prior to ingest.”

In performing VNA-R Migrations, Interlock bypasses the application layer and accesses the data directly from the storage layer; preserving access to clinical PACS and image stores. Their technology copies and migrates archive data, preserving the integrity of the source system for a fast, risk-free migration.

Interlock migrates PACS data at 10x the speed of a regular host-based migration; averaging 5-9 TB transferred per day. VNA-R Migrations are completed in weeks instead of months or years. Interlock’s VNA Ready Migrations are compatible with most of the major PACs software providers.
